The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is two year full-time programme that is offered over 4 Semesters. The program is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi and Affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

The structure of the Course is designed in a way that students have to study the core courses from different functional areas of management that are made compulsory. Later on, specializations are offered in functional areas where the students can opt for two specializations out of the five offered: Marketing, Finance, IT, HR and International Business and one Open Specialization. Right from the beginning of the course, the focus is on providing relevant inputs through case discussion/ analysis, simulation games, role plays etc. keeping in mind the current business scenario.

The first two semesters have eight compulsory papers each in the general management areas. The third and the fourth semesters concentrate on specialization subjects along with a Research Project of student’s choice. The students have to opt for two functional areas for their specialization. The first specialization subject will have four papers-two in the third semester and two in the fourth semester. The second specialization comprises of three papers with two and one to be studied in the third and the fourth semester. Students will also have to choose any one elective from the given four subjects for an Open Specialization in the fourth semester

Summer Training for 6/8 weeks is compulsory for every student pursuing the course, which they have to undergo between second and third semester. Comprehensive viva and Research project are part of the course.

The MBA curriculum equips students with tools to lead and manage in today’s ever-changing business landscape. The focus is not just on the underlying theory, but how to apply cutting-edge concepts to real, relevant business problems. Beside functional capabilities, students also develop expertise in less tangible but equally important areas such as communication, team work, leadership, business etiquettes etc, to name a few.

    Admission through UPSEE /Direct Admission: 50%-aggregate in Graduation.
  • For SC/ST Category Students:
    Admission through UPSEE /Direct Admission: 45%-aggregate in Graduation
